We're a family from Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, the nation's capital city. It's a beautiful region in which to live, and a great place to visit as well.  Well, judging by all the tourists around.

Ottawa is a city for the outdoor enthusiast, for virtually any pursuit.  There's variety of festivals and events throughout the year, and something for any taste.  And being the capital there are many museums and historic sites.  

And although the city has a population of about 800,000 and is over 100kms from end to end, it's still easy to get around, and not particularly congested like so many other large cities. In other words, it's very livable.

So what's up with this site, you ask?  Well, we came up with this idea as a way to keep track of where we've been and to organize our photos.  Sort of a diary.  But it's also a way for us to share our adventures with family, friends and complete strangers. 

So yeah, we get around quite a bit as you'll see.  From weekend trips to epic journeys we've seen much of this island we call North America.  Our site's photo area even shows itineraries and route maps for our longer trips.  Maybe you'll get some good ideas.

We also know that selecting a trailer of any kind can be a daunting task so some of our rationale and selections processes are here as well.  Of course buying it is one thing, but then you need to outfit it and even make a few changes to make it your own. Maybe some of our ideas and experiences will help.
